If I could give a zero I WOULD! I went to this so called automotive shop for help with my car and they turned me way because they ASSUMED i stole my car..MY CAR!! What kind of customer service is this.Mind you I called ahead to ask if I could bring it in to have them look at it…..They should be ashamed of themselves and look in the mirror once in a while. Even the tow truck guy who brought my car thought that was very inappropriate and some would say racist being as I’m a young black male with a sports car. I’m a huge advocate for local businesses I would think THRICE before bringing them your business.

I stopped in to Richard’s due to a mechanical issue with my Jeep (out of town). They took us in and found a quick fix to get us back on the road in no time. Very nice would definitely recommend +++++

I needed my car ready before a weekend trip and explained that timing mattered. They worked me into the schedule and completed the radiator replacement earlier than promised. Drove nearly four hours afterward without a single temperature issue. Definitely eased my mind.

Stop debating and just take your car to Richard's! They've helped me with several repairs over the years and they always clearly explain the issue and even show me the problems, and clearly outline the cost and stick to it. They also go above and beyond for their clients. Several years ago I took my car to a carwash and they sprayed a cleaning liquid on my headlights, but didn't wash it off. It completely ruined my lights, fogging them up so badly that it didn't look like the lights were even on. I tried for several years to get someone to fix this for me and no one would. The team at Richard's tried to replace them, but when that didn't work, they scrubbed them clean - which was very difficult and way more than they were required to do. They completely fixed the issue, which I had been dealing with for years. I recommend this shop to everyone.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Richard’s Automotive Repair – Charleston, SC While I was driving to Florida from Virginia after my wife passed away, my engine blew and I ended up stranded in Charleston. I had my vehicle towed to Richard’s Automotive Repair, and I am so grateful that I did. They ended up rebuilding most of my engine and still had me back on the road in just four days. I know work like that usually takes weeks, but they understood my situation and went above and beyond to help me get to Florida in time for my wife’s memorial. The communication was clear, the work was high-quality, and I felt like they genuinely cared, not just about the car, but about me as a person going through a really hard time. The engine has been running great with around 4,000 miles since, and I have full confidence in the job they did. I can’t thank Richard’s Automotive Repair and specifically the individuals that worked on my Tahoe enough and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of honest, fast, and professional service.
